Today I had the opportunity to learn about the different advanced features in Frontpage. I added the pages I wanted to add from last week. I also added images and used some advanced features. This week when I FTP'd my files it was much easier. Hopefully this continues to be easier as the weeks pass. I still have yet made up my mind for the instructional site. Lastly, next week I look forward to learning about network communications.

This week I could not attend class due to the weather. I did brainstorm some more ideas as to what I wanted to add to the website
1. sharks
2. Seahorse
3. aligator

Next week I plan on adding those pages to my site.

Today, I have made changes to my pages.

1. I changed the clipart I originally was going to use.
2. I changed the text and used wordart.

Next week, I plan to make more changes.

1. Add more inforation to the page in regards to the Great Barrier Reef.
2. Learn about buttons and add buttons.

Some challenges I have had are FTPing. As I work more with it each week, it should become easier, I am hoping. I just need to work more with the FTP program.

January 28, 2008

Tonight I created 2 pages, added clipart, animation, and linked the pages. I did learn how to FTP pages. I plan on adding another page during the week. But first I need to download FTP and be sure I have FrontPage on my computer. By next week I will be completed with 3 pages. I have decided my informational website will be The Great Barrier Reef. The instructional website, which I am still thinking about, might be how to make a turkey sandwich. Still contemplating!
